About a month after my father passed away
I decided to change the look of my blog,
which was originally named after his newspaper column.
Judging from the way it looks,
I suppose I was in a dark place at the time.
Then I stopped posting.
Partially due to a loss of interest as I grieved
partially because I was getting married in the July
Also
I spent a lot of time helping my mother...
keeping her company,
helping her prepare for a move from their home of over 30 years in the midst of an Ontario forest
to an apartment she had chosen in a small town nearby
A few months later I decided
to leave this blog as it was and start anew
I began blogging again
under the banner snapendipity
Life went on, I got married,
Mom had bravely learned (and mastered!) computers and the Internet
and was thrilled to finally move into her new digs!
Mom visited my blog weekly and she loved it so much!
The last time I saw her she had me show her how to put my banner
as the wallpaper on her computer.
Sadly, she passed away ten months after Dad
and only two months after getting into her apartment.

has been a little scattered ever since...
but I am hoping to get back to it in the very near future
